This is probably going to be the last post from my Hong Kong reserves, but back when I lived there, I got up to quite a lot in my spare time. The city is incredible and has a lot to offer, so it made it difficult to stay put whenever you had time to explore. One of the very last places I went to before I moved back to the UK was the Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden in Diamond Hill. This was by far one of the best places I've been to in HK, and if you ever visit HK, I highly recommend for you to visit this magical place. I liked it there so much that I went there twice. The first time I went by myself, and the second time I went it was to show this place to my friend, who funnily enough, is a local and had never been to this place before.

To be honest, I don't have much to say about this place so I'll let the pictures do all the talking. It was really nice to be there, as soon as I entered the Nan Lian Garden a wave of serenity washed over me and kinda left me speechless. It was a day meant for getting a peace of mind and that's exactly what I got. One thing that I do want to point out when you're looking through the pictures is the stark contrast between tradition and modernity, nature and urbanism. Seeing pictures of it doesn't come even remotely close to what it's like to actually be there and see it in person. It's unlike anything else you could ever experience. Truly.
